How We Serve Together

  • Partner with network of compassionate photographers across North Texas who volunteer their talent to uplift children in foster care.
  • Provide portraits that are shared with the child, their caseworker, and others involved in adoption recruitment.
  • Help us uphold the belief that every child deserves a permanent, loving home—and that a single photo can open the door to that future.

What We Ask of You

  • Willingness to volunteer a few times a year—or more—on your own schedule.
  • Be comfortable working with children and flexible in various environments.
  • Use your skills to create age-appropriate, personality-rich portraits that will be used in adoption recruitment efforts.
  • Submit your high-quality images in a timely manner after each shoot. Your images will be featured on the Heart Gallery of North Texas website, community galleries, and the statewide Texas Adoption Resource Exchange (TARE).

How We Say Thank You

  • Your name or business will be listed on our website as a featured volunteer photographer.
  • You’ll be credited on each child’s Heart Gallery page where your photos are used.
  • We love showing appreciation on social media shoutouts and invite you to display our “Proud Volunteer Photographer” badge on your own site or socials.
