Hailey is a curious, active, and playful young girl! She loves to swim and stay busy with different activities. She is diagnosed with Partial Complex Epilepsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is non-verbal. Effective interaction and communication with Hailey will require consistency and patience. She is learning some sign language and she currently uses gestures, a touch pad, and budding sign language to express her needs and communicate with those around her. Hailey enjoys her independence, and she tends to get bored and distracted easily. At times, Hailey needs reminders of boundaries, but her intentions most of the time is to interact and be playful. Hailey has a very approachable personality. She loves to be around others and isn’t afraid to show it! She likes to watch SpongeBob SquarePants, play with water, or play on the swings at a playground. Hailey’s favorite food is rice, as long as it has some flavor to it. She also like chicken, though prefers it plain without any sauce, and of course pizza.
